Brief
The Nation Municipality was formed in 1998. The population, resources and opportunities sure had increased, and the Municipality came to the conclusion that their original branding was not a clear reflection of where they wanted to go, anymore.
As we came to realize, opportunities and new directions call for a scintillating new branding in order to breed citizen and resident engagement and to empower identity, sense of belonging and pride.
Approach
We then went full-out in creating a whole new visual brand for the Municipality, which started with a new logo. We then carried it all out to its fleet vehicles, to all its signage, for instance on the Fire Station and the city hall, and we extended it to every piece of municipal property. Through the whole process, we have been working directly with departments and members of council alike and collaborating with its marketing team.
Solution
We’ve directed and produced promotional videos to emphasize the Municipality distinctiveness. We then proceeded to restructure their presence on the Web and to generate innovative ways for people to find the Municipality on the Web and to reach out to it.
Now, wherever residents see The Nation brand, they know they’re part of the opportunities.
