We provided them with a revitalized and rejuvenated visual identity that became the centrepiece of their new signs and website.

Brief

The Embrun Co-op was founded in 1944 and had always been working under the guidance of a Board of Directors. It had grown into a multi-division organization and had become a leader in various sectors throughout the community and beyond.

The fact that it was involved in many sectors was one of the best-kept secrets. The time had come where the secret was indeed too well-kept : they were ready to come out into the open and let it be known, for the sake of their unwavering commitment to their community.

Approach

They reached out to us for a complete brand restructuring. We conducted marketing studies and questionnaires, to find out that the community was not all that aware that the Coop had all these divisions : we quickly came to the conclusion that we had to promote these businesses as being locally-owned and embedded.
